Lean Certificate training

Mississippi State University and MEP.ms Center at CAVS Extension invite you to participate in the Lean Certificate open enrollment classes beginning in September of 2011 through December 2011. The classes will be held on the Mississippi State University Campus in Starkville, MS and also at the Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems Extension (CAVS-E) in Canton, MS (see schedule below).

Lean Certificate training will cover a full range of lean concepts such as “Waste” elimination, Pull systems, Flow, Kaizen methods, and Lean implementation management. Training material will be delivered as classroom lecture supplemented by hands on simulation exercises. Participants are expected to demonstrate learning by completing a lean improvement project outside of class, with the support of the instructor. Class size is limited to the first 12 committed reservations. All manufacturing, engineering, management, and support staff, are encouraged to attend. The price per participant is $2,400 for the 8 day series. Meals, training books, and handouts will be provided to each participant.
